The C6 Z06 was already the hardcore Corvette, with a hand-built 7.0L LS7 rated at 505 horsepower, dry-sump oiling, an aluminum frame and carbon fiber front fenders, and this 2008 takes that recipe and bolts an A&A Corvette intercooled supercharger to it. The heart of the build is a polished Vortech V-3 Ti head unit feeding a full-width ram air intercooler, and the supporting work was done right: upgraded injectors, a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, AIS methanol injection with its reservoir tucked into the rear compartment, long-tube headers and an A&A high-capacity radiator with built-in oil and transmission coolers. It still has the Z06 manners you want for the drive to the track, too, with the head-up display's track mode and g-meter, heated memory seats, a power telescopic column and Bose navigation. That's $10,100 in parts plus roughly $8,775 in shop labor already handled, so if you've wanted a Z06 with real boost without spending a winter in the garage building one, this is the car.
