Mike Gause Co-owner
I have always had a passion for cars. I spent my time as a little boy, watching and learning from my father, who was a great technician.  My father also taught me the proper ways to repair and restore automobiles.  I also worked at a GM dealership for 15 years repairing everything from carburetors to today’s complex computer controlled systems.  I am an ASE Certified Master Technician. 
 
 I've been purchasing cars for franchise stores for approximately 10 years.  After so many of my friends and family were taken advantage of purchasing cars, my wife and I decided to open Carolina Auto Direct.  This was in 2006.  Our vision is to make your buying experience a pleasurable one.  No stress, no hassles, and no surprises.



 

Sandra Gause Co-Owner
I have been in the car business for 18 years.  I handle all the accounts receivable, payable, and day to day office operations.  I feel that everyone I meet at Carolina Auto Direct, whether they purchase from us or not, should be treated with respect and like a dear friend.




 

Penny Moore
I have been in the car business for 24 years.  I handle payoffs and all the DMV and title work.  I have worked in all facets of this industry, whether it is franchise or independent dealers.  I prefer working for the independent dealer because I can get to know my customers better!
 

 



Steve Lawson
I have been in the car business for 17 years.  I am the Finance Director here plus sales, as needed.  I have worked at franchise and independent dealers.  My goal is to obtain you the financing that you want to purchase the car that you desire.



 


Doug Gaus
I have been in the car business for 25 years.  My expertise is in collision repair, parts, & service department.  I handle the day to day operations of the dealership.  If you have any problems, you can reach me anytime.
 





Paul Payton
I am an ASE Certified Master Technician with 30 years experience.  I owned and operated my own auto repair business in California for 25 years.  In that time, I won many awards for excellent service and high quality repairs.  My customers consistently voted my repair business #1 for their favorite place to have their vehicles repaired.  I moved to North Carolina 5
years ago and helped develop cutting edge technology for electric vehicles.  Paul and his team designed a 100% electric vehicle that won the Progressive Automotive Insurance X-Prize.
 
I have been friends with Mike and worked with him for several years.  We decided to join together and create Carolina Auto Care Center.  Our wealth of knowledge and dedication to excellent customer service sets us apart from all other auto repair shops.  We know the only way to build a successful business is through customer satisfaction.  Ever since Carolina Auto
